Who we are

Kamiya Wine is a wine importer and online retailer based in Shinjuku, Tokyo. We aim to be a legitimate, compliance-first importer — connecting overseas producers with Japanese consumers through careful selection and lawful sales.

How we started

Founder Ryuichi Kamiya met outstanding producers whose wines were still underrepresented in Japan. He also saw that importing and selling alcohol in Japan requires strict licensing — and that producers need a trustworthy partner.

We therefore secured a liquor retail license and mail-order liquor notification first, and built a sales foundation that meets age verification, legal disclosures, and licensed sales manager requirements.

We are now building producer partnerships. We will publish our portfolio only after contracts are in place. Leading with company legitimacy, compliance, and selection criteria is our idea of an honest start as an importer.
